Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems and be able to perform hands-on maintenance, repairs and installations.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Calibrating and testing instruments to ensure accuracy
- Assisting with the installation of new electrical and instrumentation systems
- Troubleshooting issues with control circuitry and electrical systems
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in oil, refinery, chemical or steel mill environments
- Instrument and/or electrical training or degree preferred
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime as needed
