Cleaning Technician – Commercial & Specialty Cleaning

Job Summary

Clean First Cleaning Services is seeking reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Cleaning Technicians to join our team. This position involves commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, residential cleaning, floor care, window cleaning, and other specialty cleaning services at various job sites throughout the Nashville area.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions carefully, works well with a team, and maintains a professional attitude while working in our clients’ properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of commercial, residential, and post-construction properties.
• Clean offices, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and maintain various flooring surfaces.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and other equipment as needed.
• Perform floor care services including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing when assigned.
• Clean interior windows, glass, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Perform detailed dusting, wiping, disinfecting, and removal of construction dust and debris.
• Assist with specialty cleaning projects, including post-construction and post-remediation cleaning.
• Properly use, mix, store, and handle cleaning chemicals according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Move or reposition furniture and equipment when necessary.
• Follow job-specific scopes of work and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect completed work to ensure Clean First quality standards are met.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report damaged or missing supplies.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Provide excellent customer service and respect client property at all times.

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in different properties and environments throughout the Nashville area.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move cleaning supplies, equipment, and furniture when required.
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and following proper safety procedures.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Willingness to learn specialized cleaning procedures and equipment.

We are licensed and insured and work with a variety of residential, commercial, construction, and property management clients.

This is a paid position with opportunities to develop additional skills and take on greater responsibilities as you grow with the company.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
