Prep Cook and Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by preparing ingredients and assisting in the overall food preparation process. Duties

• Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• The line cook will be in charge of running the line and must be confident multitasking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food handling practices comply with safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cutting tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods and equipment used in the kitchen is a plus.
• Strong knife skills are advantageous for efficient ingredient preparation.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed are crucial for success in this role.
