Clay County Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide to join our Rural Health Clinic team. This full-time position supports a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, helping deliver high-quality care to patients in our family medicine clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, assessments, and other relevant clinical information
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Answer phones and relay messages professionally and accurately
- Assist with clinical documentation and manage patient forms
- Provide day-to-day clinical and administrative support to the provider
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor to protect patient privacy and promote positive health outcomes
Requirements:
- Certified as a CNA, Medical Aide, or Medical Assistant (must be in good standing in Kansas)
- Prior clinic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and a welcoming, patient-centered environment
- Proficient with basic computer tasks and electronic medical records
