Candidate will work two shifts a week as an ED RN and one shift a week as a House Sup.
As an ED RN, candidate will perform nursing care to patients of all ages under the scope of IL RN license as well as the policies/procedures of CCH. Duties include providing education to patients, assess and treat patients in ER, start and maintain IVs; Documentation; Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team and patient.
As a house supervisor, candidate is housed in the ER where they will be responsible for leading teams in the absence of management, step in as ED nurse and Med/Surg nurse as needed, guide and direct staff, ensure care of patients and other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements: An Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Illinois RN license required, ED/Code team experience and supervisor experience preferred.
This position is a full-time role position, nights (7p-7a), 36 hours per week with pay beginning at $34.39 per hour while working as an ED RN, and $39.89 while working as a ED House Supervisor, and increases with experience. Shift differential will be added as well (6% & 9% where applicable) as additional weekend pay ($3 per hour) for any weekend shifts worked.
