We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Deputy Jailer - Female to join our security team. Duties
- Supervise female inmates to ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations, maintaining order and safety at all times
- Conduct regular patrols within the detention area, monitoring CCTV footage and physical spaces for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills and first aid or CPR techniques when necessary
- Maintain accurate records by writing detailed reports on inmate behavior, incidents, and daily activities
- Enforce security procedures during inmate intake, transfers, and releases, ensuring proper documentation and protocol adherence
- Use CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity inside and outside the facility, identifying potential security risks
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incident responses, providing clear communication and support
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, report writing, and basic first aid/CPR certification is preferred
- Experience working with female populations in detention or correctional settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear report documentation and team collaboration
