Shift Differentials

• Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): Additional $5.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked).
• Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): Additional $6.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked).

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Oxygen/aerosol therapy, ABG sampling, ventilation, airway maintenance, and oximetry studies.
• Diagnostics: Perform pulmonary function testing and stock rounds.
• Patient Education: Utilize the Lung Navigator to educate outpatients and families; provide detailed discharge instructions.
• Maintenance: Ensure proper cleaning/disinfecting of equipment and complete necessary clerical work.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Credentials: NBRC Credentialed (CRTT or RRT) and current BLS certification required.
• Expertise: Advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric.

• The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
