As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide comprehensive nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. You'll use your critical thinking, technical skills, and a holistic approach to deliver purposeful and effective care during life-threatening events. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current NYS RN license
- One and a half (1.5) years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background.
- Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development across the life span, with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize care plans and delivery.
- Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred.
- Successful completion of the CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire.
- Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date.
- Successful completion of an approved critical care course, ACLS, and PALS within one year of position start date.
- The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
