We are seeking a motivated and energetic
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizza, fried foods, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, grills, and slicers safely and efficiently
- Maintain food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume periods
- Follow food production guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service
- Support the dietary department with meal preparation when needed, adhering to dietary restrictions and specifications
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety management standards
Skills
- Previous dietary aide or food industry experience with a focus on food preparation or kitchen operations
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in fast-paced or high-volume environments
- Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent food handling skills with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction
