Machine Tool Accessory Installer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Machine Tool Accessory Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring various accessories on lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and drills. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, along with the ability to perform minor fabrication and modifications as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure accessories such as Digital Readouts (DROs), coolant systems, taper attachments, power drawbars, and work lights on machine tools.

• Perform voltage changes and basic electrical work on machines.

• Operate forklifts to move equipment safely.

• Drill, tap, and modify machines as necessary.

• Conduct minor fabrication as needed for proper installation.

• Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Use measuring tools, indicators, and basic hand tools for precise installations.

Qualifications:

• Experience with machine tools and their accessories is preferred.

• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to perform voltage changes.

• Ability to use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and assembly.

• Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to get certified).

• Basic fabrication skills are a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
