CNC Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
Clausing Industrial is seeking a CNC Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily phone- and email-based, assisting customers with troubleshooting, parts identification, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate technical documentation effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide phone and email support for customers troubleshooting CNC machines.
- Identify and research required parts using machine manuals and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records by updating the master database with technical files.
- Assist in identifying and understanding CNC control systems, including Fanuc, Acu-Rite, Fagor, Siemens, etc.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Windows-based PC applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and document information accurately.
- Prior experience with CNC machinery or related technical support is a plus.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Acu-Rite, Fagor, Siemens, etc.) is helpful.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Some overtime as needed
