Irrigation Technicians are responsible for installing, servicing and repairing a wide range of indoor and outdoor irrigation equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will have experience in several of the skills and tools listed above. Irrigation Technicians are employed by landscaping companies, developers, utility companies, golf courses, general contractors and parks departments.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily tasks that include building, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems.
- Keep detailed records on the activities and work completed; including new design plans, additional design plans and operations maintenance for the system.
- Knowledge of hydroponics, drip systems, sprinkler systems, micro-irrigation systems, drip tape and pipe installation.,The ability to work with computers to complete reports and other documentation of daily job activities.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to influence co-workers to strive for high achievement.
- Demonstrate accountability by accepting responsibility for completing assigned assignments and adhering to deadlines.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
