Classique Wines was founded in 1999 as a boutique French wine distributor, thus the name.

In time, our role began changing to reflect the evolving tastes in the wine world. The idea of being a boutique wine (and future spirits) distributor did not waiver.

The mission of our company was and is to bring high quality, market-value-priced wines and spirits from all over the globe to your table. In most cases, these are small producers with limited distribution.

FUNCTIONAL ROLE:

Wine sales representatives are the face of wineries and wine and spirits brands. They travel to restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and other retail outlets to promote their products. Their goal is to build relationships with buyers and sellers alike in order to increase brand awareness and sell more wine and spirits.

Wine sales reps typically have a deep knowledge of the wines they represent. They know everything from production details to flavor profiles to recommended food pairings. This knowledge helps them answer questions about their product and also leads to meaningful conversations with buyers about why their wine is special.

Sales representatives duties include checking the accuracy of orders and issuing invoices, maintaining sales records, customer service, and compiling monthly sales reports. They must be current with price lists, promotions, strategies, and data evaluation of accounts. They may also be required to liaise with other departments, and research new product lines.
