Looking for an experienced Survey Instrument Operator. Responsible for performing surveying tasks including carrying, setting up and operating surveying instruments and accurately recording data as part of a field surveying team.

DUTIES:

1.) Prepare clear, concise, accurate field notes documenting survey activities, including field notes, reduction and general calculations.

2.) Perform specific survey calculations as assigned by senior survey staff.

3.) Perform general care and maintenance of equipment and company vehicle.

4.) Ensure that vehicle has adequate supplies and materials for scheduled surveying activities.

5.) Act as a runner, when needed, to obtain additional supplies or equipment.

6.) Other reasonable duties as assigned.

7.) Become proficient with all field equipment used by CCES to include total stations, data collectors and automatic levels.

Typically spends majority of time on project site (outdoors, possible heat, cold or inclement weather, presence of construction equipment and associated hazards)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
