We are seeking a unique individual who can multi-task in an extremely fast-paced coffee shop. Direct training provided, PLUS, the opportunity to earn great tips! Employee benefits also include medical, 401K retirement, bonuses, and vacation.
Essential Duties:
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or latest items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
- Follow directions and excel in team dynamics
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Experience in food and beverage preparation and customer service preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a food handlers permit (Required)
- Availability to work around peak hours, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Must have a polite, engaging personality.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Work as a leader in a team setting and be a natural problem solver
- Self-driven and a quick learner
Wage rate: $16.66 - $17.50 /hour DOE plus tips and bonuses
