What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clothing presser position at Classic Cleaners?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Presser to join our team. As a Presser, you will be responsible for ensuring that garments are properly cleaned, pressed, and presented to our customers. This is a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our laundry and dry cleaning services.
Responsibilities:
- Operate pressing equipment to press garments, including shirts, pants, dresses, and other items
- Inspect garments for stains, tears, or other damages before pressing
- Apply appropriate heat and pressure to remove wrinkles and creases from garments
- Use steamers or irons to touch up garments as needed
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate fabrics and specialty items
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to garment care
- Experience not required but helpful. On-site training.
