Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines including pressing machines, dry cleaning equipment, and laundry washers/dryers with precision and safety.
• Perform garment finishing tasks such as pressing, steaming, and garment finishing to achieve professional quality results.
• Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of garments and laundry items efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment using appropriate cleaning detergents.
• Process cash transactions accurately at the cashier station, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering garment care advice, and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.
• Follow proper fabric care procedures based on material knowledge to prevent damage and ensure optimal results.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with guest service standards.
• Knowledge of garment finishing techniques such as pressing, garment care machine operation, and fabric handling.
• Experience in dry cleaning processes, laundry services, and the use of pressing machines is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory or supplies.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in garment care.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
