Responsibilities
- Present, promote, and sell products using strong product knowledge and customer-focused recommendations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Generate leads through networking, outreach, and in-person visits
- Conduct product sampling and cost-benefit analyses to meet customer needs
- Accurately enter and manage orders (pricing, products, timelines)
- Resolve customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams
- Track sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Stay informed on industry trends and opportunities
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wholesale meat sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in food service, hospitality, or grocery industries
- Industry certifications or additional sales training
