Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair STIHL outdoor power equipment including:
- Chainsaws
- Trimmers
- Blowers
- Battery-powered equipment
- Assemble and prepare new equipment for customer pickup or sale.
- Complete warranty claims and maintain accurate repair documentation.
- Communicate repair timelines, maintenance recommendations, and service details clearly with customers.
- Ensure all serviced equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service workspace.
- Participate in ongoing STIHL factory training and certification opportunities.
- Support the overall success of the power equipment department through excellent customer service and technical expertise
Must Have
- Proven small engine repair knowledge or strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to explain technical repairs in simple, customer-friendly language.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working specifically with STIHL outdoor power equipment.
- Existing STIHL certifications
