Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide remodeling projects accurately.
- Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinetry work with precision.
- Install flooring, tile, stucco, plastering, masonry, and hardscape features to enhance home aesthetics.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Manage construction estimating tasks to accurately forecast project costs and materials needed.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
- Execute restoration work including concrete finishing, masonry repairs, roofing repairs, and glass installation.
- Perform construction painting, caulking, concrete forming, welding, and other finishing tasks as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation using tools like Bluebeam for project updates and progress tracking.
Skills
- Extensive experience in residential remodeling with a strong foundation in carpentry, framing, roofing, and masonry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, drywall installation, stucco application, and tile laying.
- Ability to perform construction inspection tasks ensuring safety compliance and quality standards.
- Familiarity with construction management principles to coordinate multiple trades efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in restoration projects like concrete finishing or masonry repairs.
