What We Need
We are seeking an Accounting & AP Specialist to manage accounts payable, invoicing, and daily accounting entries, while contributing to monthly close and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who thrives in hands-on accounting work and enjoys owning processes end-to-end. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of bookkeeping best practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and industry knowledge, ranging between $70,000 to $100,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, we offer an attractive equity component as part of our compensation package, providing an opportunity for eligible employees to share in the success and growth of our company. What We Need
We are seeking an Accounting & AP Specialist to manage accounts payable, invoicing, and daily accounting entries, while contributing to monthly close and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who thrives in hands-on accounting work and enjoys owning processes end-to-end. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of bookkeeping best practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable: vendor invoices, approvals, and payments.
- Process company expenses and reimbursements.
- Record daily accounting entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist with monthly close tasks, schedules and preparation of financial statements.
- Support process improvements in financial operations.
- Annual audit support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with NetSuite.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in vendor management and AP processes.
- Experience in a growth-stage or mid-sized company.
- Familiarity with integrating AI tools into recurring accounting tasks.
