Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Specialist in Boston, MA. Essential Functions:
- Process and code invoices across various categories with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage the AP inbox and respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally
- Perform end-to-end AP tasks including invoice entry, approvals, and payment execution
- Handle high-volume invoice processing in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Leverage automation tools and AI-driven systems to streamline AP workflows
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with month-end close and reconciliation activities
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Comfortable with hands-on AP processing from start to finish
- Experience working in high-volume environments
- Proficiency with accounting software and AP automation tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Tech-savvy with a proactive approach to leveraging digital tools
