Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, positive attitude and organizational skills will help create a professional and friendly environment for patients and team members alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills while supporting daily operations across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, handling appointment referrals in and out of the office and assist with other calls as needed
  • Obtain and verify correct insurance information, insurance authorizations and patient demographics for appointments
  • Maintain patient data entry records and ensure accurate documentation through proofreading and meticulous attention to detail
  • Manage appointment scheduling, checking patients in and out and basic bookkeeping tasks such as collecting and recording patient co-pays and balances
  • Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills.
  • Support office management tasks including supply inventory, coordinating mail distribution and performing clerical duties such as photocopying and scanning
  • Provide excellent customer service support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally in person or via phone or email

Skills

  • Proven office experience or clerical background with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy. Will provide EHR system training on site
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette essential for handling high-volume calls effectively
  • Familiarity with office management tasks such as filing, proofreading and basic bookkeeping
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
