ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE POSITION

At Clarke County Hospital, we seek a diligent individual to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, corridors, and common spaces.
• Collect and transport trash, replace liners in waste containers, and ensure proper disposal practices.
• Dust, polish, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain walkways and entryways free from debris and snow.
• Follow infection control procedures, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in Quality assurance programs.

Additional Duties:

• Assist in the maintenance and care of departmental equipment and supplies.
• Participate in educational programs, in-service meetings, and attend required training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics as necessary.
• Communicate and apply Compliance Program standards, procedures, and goals.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrate flexibility, and engage with others' ideas.
• Willingness to take direction from authorized personnel and adhere to approved policies and procedures.
