Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication/Trailer Technician to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fabricating related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise in welding, mechanical repairs, and vehicle maintenance will drive the success of our fleet operations. Duties
- Perform welding tasks including MIG welding, soldering, and to fabricate or repair trailer components
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and detailed repairs of trailers and equipment
- Maintain trailers through routine inspections, heavy lifting, and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with repairs and customer service inquiries related to trailer repairs
- Support vehicle maintenance activities such as tire replacements, brake repairs, and general mechanical/electrical diagnostics
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while documenting repair processes
Experience
- Dealership experience or background in automotive repair highly preferred
- Proficiency in MIG welding, steel and aluminum
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Experience working with heavy lifting equipment and performing vehicle maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of auto estimating software is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about repair needs and timelines

Pay: $26.00 - $34.45 per hour
