Responsibilities
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes, silverware, and glassware to prepare for the next guests
- Assist with food handling and delivery to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or other duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing tables and chairs
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience with serving or hotel operations is advantageous but not mandatory
