Clark Clinic Cardiology is proud to offer expert heart care with Dr. Ananth Kumar, Dr. Chioma Nwagbara, Dr. Charles Salters and John Byrd, PA-C highly skilled cardiology providers dedicated to serving patients across Eastern Kentucky. They specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, utilizing advanced techniques to provide personalized, high-quality care. Whether performing minimally invasive procedures to restore heart function or developing comprehensive treatment plans to improve long-term heart health, the team at Clark Clinic Cardiology are committed to ensuring patients receive exceptional care close to home.
Position Summary:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in nursing, required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
- KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
- Basic Life Support (BLS), required
