We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Ag Premier Service Tech to support our teams in the field. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Control pests, weeds, and garden rodents on-site in a variety of residential accounts
• Fertilize lawns, bushes and trees
• Physically inspect a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests and fungi; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage
• Interface directly with homeowners, homebuyers and their agents regarding the work to be completed
• Create diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations
• Perform creative sales solicitations and provide estimates
• Coordinate activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel
• Determine the costs, estimate the crew time and schedule work
• Receive and properly account for company funds during the course of business activities
• Submit all paperwork and collections on a daily basis
• Perform other administrative tasks at the supervisors direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service
• Maintain company issue equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Math skills must be sufficient to permit calculation of square feet, cubic feet, flow and coverage rates, mix rations, room volumes, etc.
• Must be self motivated, sales aggressive individual with a concern for others
• Must be familiar with construction methods and terminology
• Must be willing to meet with homeowners and potential customers, before or after normal working hours, to present our services

What’s Required

• You must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check before beginning work
• You must speak clearly and effectively in English and dress in a manner suited to a professional office
• A pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal positively with fellow employees, occasionally under stressful conditions, is a prime requisite
• Each employee must obey safety instructions, rules, policy and procedures and use provided and installed safety devices and safety equipment; An employee is responsible for notifying his/her immediate supervisor of a violation or deficiency in safe and healthful working conditions
