Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ag Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automotive and heavy duty agricultural equipment out in the field and at various shop locations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to the team. The Ag Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and meeting safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs out in the field on ag equipment such as trucks, tractors, trailers, wind-machines, ATV’s.
- Perform oil changes, brake repairs, tire replacements, and transmission diagnostics to maintain operational efficiency as needed at Booth locations.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and fix engine, electrical, and transmission issues.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.
- Assist with the development of a maintenance record system for the fleet to improve scheduling and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform diagnostic tests out in the field in order to maintain and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment such as wind machines, tractors, harvesters, and sprayers.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex systems such as hydraulics, powertrain, and electrical circuits.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all Booth locations to extend the life of equipment and reduce downtime.
- Replace or repair components like engines, transmissions, tires, and steering systems.
- Collaborate with a team of technicians to meet seasonal demands and deadlines.
- Order parts or supplies necessary for repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide on-site support for emergency breakdowns and critical repairs.
- Performed related duties as required.

- Outdoor Activities Familiarity
- Diesel, Gas, Propane Engine Repair
