Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage sales efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to fulfill multiple orders promptly while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order processing.
• Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to sanitation regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
