Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-time Class A US Mail Hauler to join our team. This position involves transporting mail using a tractor-trailer. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of mail across designated routes.

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailer units to transport US Mail safely and efficiently.
• Perform route driving duties, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, and deliveries made.
• Utilize manual transmission skills when operating vehicles as necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience with tractor-trailer driving
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation is essential.
• Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of mail handling procedures is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
