Duties
- Mow lawns using walk-behind or riding mowers, ensuring even cutting and a clean finish
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and blowers for detailed landscape work
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, planting, mulching, and hardscape cleanup
- Use power tools safely for tasks like trimming, edging, and minor construction projects
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
Skills
- Some mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot lawn care equipment and power tools
- Familiarity with landscaping design elements like hardscape features (patios, walkways)
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
- Experience with snow plowing operations during winter seasons is a plus
