Clark Hill PLC is seeking a litigation associate with 2 years of experience to join its Fidelity Surety & Coverage business unit. This position will assist the surety/ construction team based in Collin County, TX. The surety group's practice focuses on litigation in both state and federal courts, counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar but may work from any Clark Hill Texas location.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets and experience:
- Practical or legal knowledge regarding the construction industry
- Prior experience with construction disputes, mechanics’ liens, and/or preparing and negotiating construction contracts and other construction documents (preferred but not required)
- The ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment with other attorneys, team members, consultants, and clients;
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials
