Public Sector Law Associate - Lansing, MI

Clark Hill is seeking an associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience specifically working in water resources/drain law for its Education & Municipal Law business unit in the Lansing, MI office. This associate will work with public sector clients in all aspects of water resources including, environmental compliance, land acquisition and easements, eminent domain, land use regulation, contracts, construction and litigation. Ideal candidates will have some familiarity with real estate, environmental, construction, and financing matters. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and organized, and will possess a solid work ethic. All candidates must either be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan or eligible for admission without examination.

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $120,000 - $135,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
