IP Paralegal - Scottsdale, AZ

Clark Hill PLC is seeking a paralegal with 5 years of experience to join the Intellectual Property business unit in the Scottsdale, AZ office. Responsibilities for this role include preliminary patent, trademark, and copyright searches; due diligence searches; providing cost estimates for patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution and maintenance; payment of maintenance fees for issued U.S. patents and issued and pending foreign patent applications; and legal research for intellectual property matters.

All Applicants Should Possess The Following Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a Paralegal Certificate
• Experience working with e-discovery software
• Experience with preparing and electronically filing documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)
• Excellent computer skills with a high-level attention to detail
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• The ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  
  

The salary range for this role is $87,000 - $115,000. Salary is commensurate with experience level. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
