What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Paralegal (INTERPOL Immigration Focus) – Washington, D.C. position at Clark Hill Law?
Clark Hill PLC is seeking a paralegal with at least 5 years of experience to join the Immigration business unit in the Washington, D.C. office. Exceptional candidates will have knowledge of INTERPOL’s procedures, including experience preparing Requests for Access and Deletion before the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files. Strong candidates will have experience with the procedures governing family-based immigration, consular processing, asylum, naturalization, waivers, removal defense, and electronic case filing with U.S. federal courts. Responsibilities will include preparing filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and immigration court, drafting affidavits, communicating with clients, completing forms, gathering facts and evidence to support our clients’ applications and motions, drafting declarations, and more. All candidates should possess excellent computer skills, high-level attention to detail, and superior written and oral communication skills. Qualified candidates should be able to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience with INSZoom is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate will be considered.
The salary range at the time of posting is $37.02 - $43.51/hour, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to, employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
