About The Role
Clark Hill PLC is seeking a is seeking an individual for the role of Collections Specialist for its Detroit, Dallas, or Pittsburgh office. The Accounts Receivable Specialist works for the Credit and Collections group managing the Firm’s accounts receivable by evaluating client creditworthiness, monitoring outstanding invoices, and collecting overdue payments.This is a hybrid position, requiring the Collections Specialist to be in the office at least threedays per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
Required Skills And Experience
The salary range at the time of posting is $24.00 - $31.25 hourly/$50,000 - $65,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.

Required Skills And Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Finance role or other related and relevant experience or an associate’s degree required.Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred. Experience in the legal field highly valued.
- Supports financial strategies for financial solutions by implementing specific programs with relevant internal and external customer groupsl
- Maintains client portfolio to identify delinquent accounts.
- Monitors credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitors accounts receivable and tracks unpaid invoices.
- Contacts clients to collect overdue payments.
- Negotiates payment plans for delinquent accounts.
- Resolves invoice disputes with clients.
- Maintains financial records related to client accounts.
- Escalates accounts to management or external collection agencies, as necessary. Preferred Skills
- A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service; and
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication skills, prioritization skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Understands and is able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to credit and collections.
- Understands and follows Firm policies and procedures related to financial risk.
- Must have sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with internal and external clients.
