Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements and the Monthly Financial Package.
• Responsibilities will include reviewing monthly journal entries, preparing and / or reviewing balance sheet accounting reconciliations and month end financial reporting
• Supervise a group of 7 Accounting Professionals
• Hire, train and develop a staff
• Establish and implement policies and procedures
• Work with external auditors to assist in the coordination of the year-end audit
• Implement internal controls are in place ensure SOX compliance
• Responsible for the accounting of joint ventures and other new business ventures.
• Assist with financial projects and initiatives throughout the year including intangible asset valuations, technical accounting research and internal controls testing
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a manager within a finance/accounting department.
• CPA and prior Public Accounting Experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), proficient, Oracle, PeopleSoft
• Must be proficient in MS Word and an ERP financial system (e.g.: Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc)

$75K to $85K Bonus
