Project Manager

Clark Companies, a prominent leader in the design and construction of high-end outdoor athletic facilities, is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team in Delhi, NY.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for executing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from preconstruction through project closeout. This position serves as a primary point of contact for clients, designers, subcontractors, municipalities, and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed successfully while meeting client expectations and project requirements.

This position is also responsible for effectively managing the project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client needs while navigating the various constrains of each project.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management experience and a strong understanding of the construction process across all phases of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to successfully manage and track multiple construction projects from project award through completion of the project.
• Frequent travel (approximately P) throughout the Northeast as required.
• Assist with the management of overall project budgets and sustaining profitability.
• Solicit vendor quotes and prepare/analyze buyout comparisons and prepare, process, and track project submittals.
• Prepare, administer and track subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
• Assist with project design development and coordination from conceptual phase to as-builts.
• Prepare, maintain, and administer project schedules in coordination with on-site tasks and progress.
• Prepare and submit monthly payment applications and track vendor invoicing.
• Attend and participate in annual project-specific meetings in person or virtually.
• Communicate effectively with clients, designers, subcontractors, municipalities, and internal teams.
• Assist with the preparation of takeoffs, estimates, bids, and present project value engineering options.
• Assist with corporate marketing initiatives including presentations and sales meetings.
• Proficiently organize, coordinate, and follow up with subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors.
• Attend code, planning, and zoning meetings with and on behalf of clients, including meetings with municipalities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Required Qualifications:

Skills & Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, and cost management.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, etc.) and Construction Management Software (Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam) is preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Insite is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions.
• Eagerness and motivation to quickly learn and apply new skills and abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Experience & Education:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Background in commercial sitework and/or sports construction preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually (commensurate on experience).

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Reports to: Director of Estimating and Project Management
