Your Role: What You'll DoAs Director of Revenue and Financial Operations, you will oversee the organization's revenue cycle and financial operations, with approximately 65% of the role focused on behavioral health service billing and revenue cycle oversight. Accounting, audit, and related finance functions are outsourced; this role provides strategic direction, analysis, and vendor accountability.

  • Lead and oversee revenue cycle management, including billing, collections, and payer processes
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison to all outsourced financial service providers, including billing, accounting, audit, insurance, and related vendors; ensure performance, compliance, and accountability
  • Provide budget development, fiscal monitoring, and financial analysis to clinical and programmatic leaders in support of organizational goals
  • Oversee financial vendors and contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Collaborate with clinical, programmatic, and performance teams to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes
  • Supervise and support internal revenue and finance-related staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Apply healthcare regulatory and coding expertise to support accuracy, compliance, and sustainability-particularly in behavioral and mental health services

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or related financial operations
  • At least three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, preferably with experience in behavioral or mental health services
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with healthcare revenue cycle and financial software systems
