Clarity is looking for a Store / Pharmacy Operations Manager for a busy pharmacy in Donegal.
What you need to know:
This is a non-clinical, senior operational role responsible for ensuring the smooth and consistent running of a multi-site community pharmacy group (4 sites). You will work closely with the Managing Director to translate strategic direction into day-to-day operational execution, driving standards, efficiency, and profitability across the business.

This is a non-clinical, senior operational role responsible for ensuring the smooth and consistent running of a multi-site community pharmacy group (4 sites). You will work closely with the Managing Director to translate strategic direction into day-to-day operational execution, driving standards, efficiency, and profitability across the business.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across a 7-day pharmacy business, ensuring consistency and performance visibility
- Coordinate Manager Pharmacists, Retail Supervisors, and their teams, including rotas, scheduling, and cover planning
- Lead performance management conversations fairly and consistently
- Build, maintain, and own the operational scorecard and SOPs
- Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and patient safety
- Manage digital operations, including eCommerce and online prescription services
- Maintain strong customer service and retail standards across all sites
- Drive financial performance through cost control, margin discipline, and operational efficiency
- Identify operational issues early and ensure timely resolution
- A strong operational leader with a systems-driven mindset
- Confident managing people and holding teams accountable
- Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership to execute strategy
- Someone who thrives on coordination, follow-through, and operational excellence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmacy or multi-site healthcare retail operations
- Proven people-management and performance management experience
- Strong understanding of community pharmacy workflows and compliance
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
