Our client, a growing Swiss multinational company, is expanding its U.S. presence and is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its New York team. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch innovative platforms in the U.S. market while partnering closely with sales and marketing leaders to build a strong pipeline. Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $60,000 base $40,000 target commission (OTE: $100,000)
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using established qualification methodologies (BANT or similar).
- Schedule product demonstrations and introductory meetings for the Account Executive team.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to execute targeted outbound campaigns and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Maintain accurate prospect and activity data within Salesforce and other sales tools.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and effectively communicate value propositions to prospective customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and meeting generation goals.
Ideal Background
- 1–3 years of B2B sales, business development, or sales development experience.
- Experience prospecting through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging executive-level decision-makers.
- Highly motivated, coachable, and resilient with a desire to build a career in sales.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
