The Employee Relations professional serves as a trusted resource for employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role is responsible for handling employee concerns, conducting investigations, advising managers on employee issues, and supporting initiatives that promote engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilitie
- sServe as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
- .Conduct prompt, thorough, and confidential investigations involving employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and policy violations
- .Partner with managers to address performance management issues, disciplinary actions, employee coaching, and corrective action plans
- .Advise leadership on employee relations best practices and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- .Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
- .Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives
- .Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management
- .Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve workplace satisfaction and reduce turnover
- .Assist with termination processes, severance agreements, and exit interviews
- .Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and investigation documentation
- .Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, and HR Business Partners on employee-related initiatives
- .Provide guidance on leave administration, accommodations, and workplace compliance matters as needed
- .Participate in training programs related to harassment prevention, workplace conduct, and management development
.Qualification
- sBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- .3 years of employee relations or human resources experience (5 years preferred for Manager-level roles)
- .Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- .Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters
- .Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- .Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- .Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- .PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
