Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive role model and coach, helping clients build problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and independent living skills.
- Learn each client’s needs and support them in meeting goals in their employment setting. Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance individually and in group sessions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the clients and employers.
- Teach and encourage clients to pursue their hopes, goals, and objectives through self-direction and effective decision-making.
- Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent and/or relevant work or life experience.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, ability to meet agency driving standards, and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass required Wisconsin Caregiver Background Checks and any applicable out-of-state checks.
- Reliable phone with voicemail and access to email.
