Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food, condiments, and utensils, maintaining an appealing display throughout service.
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service with a friendly attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, replenishing supplies, and adhering to food safety standards.
- Restock breakfast stations promptly to ensure availability of all menu items during peak hours.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in kitchen areas, storage rooms, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service that fosters guest relations and positive reviews.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong communication skills coupled with friendly guest interaction abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing duties efficiently; physical stamina is essential.
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations including serving, bussing tables, and coffee or beverage service is beneficial.
- Reliable transportation to work, no later than 5am daily.
