What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Shack Attendant position at CLARION INN?
Snack Shack Attendants are responsible for serving food and drinks to Parrot Cove Indoor Water Park guests. Snack Shack Attendants are expected to have strong customer service skills, the ability to learn a Point of Sale system, and assist in creating a positive experience for park guests. Snack Shack Attendants will perform a variety of duties which may include completing customer transactions, cleaning food or stock areas, preparing food, and taking inventory.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older
Preferred Experience
- 6 months of food handling experience
- Previous experience with Point of Sale systems
Essential Job Functions
- Providing excellent customer service and taking food orders
- Operating a Point of Sale system
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned work areas
- Completes a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
- Serving of tap beer and pre-mixed drinks (21 only)
- Receives inventory, moving and lifting food and beverage products
- Ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Additional duties as requested
