Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues efficiently. Duties
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, switches, and wiring
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to maintain automation systems
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Supervise junior technicians or apprentices when required, providing leadership and guidance
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility standards during all maintenance activities
- Assist in projects related to facilities upgrades or modifications
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software
- Mechanical knowledge including experience with welding, residential painting, and general facilities maintenance
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Experience with troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Supervising experience with leadership capabilities in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with production teams and external vendors
- Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
