Responsibilities
- Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, conveyor dryers, and garment care machines safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Perform laundry washing, fabric care, stain removal (including mechanical, baking soda, hot water, cold water stains), and dry cleaning processes to ensure garments meet quality standards.
- Label garments accurately for identification and tracking throughout the laundry process.
- Use laundry ironing, pressing machines, and laundry folding machines to deliver crisp, well-presented items.
- Manage inventory tracking of laundry supplies and maintain an organized workspace for optimal workflow.
- Handle laundry steam cleaning and barrier washer operations to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Assist with cashiering duties when necessary and provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries professionally.
- Push carts and operate tunnel washer systems to handle large volumes of laundry efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel or commercial laundry environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of fabric care techniques and machine operation safety procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment such as stackable dryers, laundry folding machines, and stain removal tools is a plus.
- Ability to operate bleach washing systems and perform mechanical stain removal effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain an orderly work area.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks confidently.
