- Compensation: $33-$38 per hour plus bonuses and service spiffs!
- Diagnose and fix residential HVAC systems, ensuring every job meets safety standards and regulatory codes.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.
- Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or underperforming systems.
- Keep systems running smoothly by cleaning coils, calibrating controls, and replacing motors, fans, and filters.
- Explain technical issues in plain English, offering clear repair options and costs so homeowners can make informed decisions.
- Replace refrigerant lines, vents, and humidifiers while ensuring all work is accurate and serviceable.
- Maintain clean records of services provided and explain warranties to customers.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, continuing education, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats.
- 2 years in residential HVAC service.
- Must live in or near McHenry County.
- High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. EPA Certification is preferred.
- You own the personal tools of the trade.
- A team player who communicates effectively and takes pride in a job well done.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-80 lbs.
- Ability to frequent stoop, kneel and crouch to work in tight spaces.
- Ability to climb and work from ladders.
- Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
