Special Education Teacher – Middle School | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll provide direct instruction and targeted interventions to help students meet their individualized education goals. You’ll design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor student progress, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Collaboration is central to this role—you’ll work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to create consistent supports that promote both engagement and independence.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is flexible, compassionate, and deeply committed to fostering a classroom culture where every student can thrive. A valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a passion for inclusive, student-centered teaching.
